WILD HORSE SERIGRAPHY
VILDHÄSTAR 1
Per Josephson has worked with the Wild horse as a motif for many years and in a number of different techniques.
The expression is a mixed and developed variation from the origin of pop art. The Wild horse landscape show Warhol’s large colored vast fields of color, protruding accents and Lichtenstein’s significant patterns.
The power of the subject and the perspective of the image give depth and movement as the Wild horse emerges from its landscape.
